gramps,its been so long since i last saw you,but i think about you all the time,and i wish so much,that you were still here.i am 40 now,and have 2 children of my own,ben is 18 and hannah is 13.i was only 18 when you died,and it still hurts as much now,as it did all those years ago.everytime i hear the song pennies from heaven,i think of you,as you used to sing it to me and daren.i also remember how you loved to smoke your pipe,and how smart you were,always immaculate,and very well groomed,you were a handsome man,even in your sixties,and you always had a smile on your face,and a twinkle in your eye. there have been so many times,when i have needed you,as you were like a dad to me,and when you died it left a gap that has never been filled,as you are irreplaceable. i know that you are watching over us,and that you are happy now you are reunited with nanny may,as i know how much you missed her when she died.so till i see you again,god bless gramps,and sweet dreams.love you always,mandy.xxxxxxxx
